DEMO ON SAT 12 JULY, MULLUMBIMBY

We are organizing a PROTEST DEMONSTRATION to say


NO TO WOOLWORTHS

SAT 12 JULY – 12 NOON

We need your support!! What can YOU do to help make the demo a success?

A national newspaper is doing a big article and we need a big picture!

Woolworths have applied for more variations to their Big Box supermarket – a few cosmetic changes such as a pitched roof over the entranceway. We are currently working on a submission/objection letter and this will soon be available on our website and at Santos, Eden"s Landing and perhaps IGA. Final date is 18 July and if Sartor passes these modifications, we have no right of appeal.

We want to make the demo attractive to families (it is the school holidays) with music, entertainment, refreshments, face painting, soapbox, etc.

This is your town and your action network calling you to action. Inaction is itself a conscious choice. If you don"t want the massive ugly Big Box obliterating the view of Mt Chincogan as you enter town, do something! Imagine the traffic if we get 17100 people shopping in Mullum (figures in Wws glossy booklet). An alternative way to participate is to make a donation to Southern Cross Credit Union, 56 Burringbar Street, Mullum BSB 802185 A/C 132418. (We have to pay for Echo ad this week).
