URGENT HELP WANTED
TO TAKE EMERGENCY SUPPLIES FROM BYRON TO BRISBANE
RE: FLOODS IN ALICE SPRINGS
Recent heavy rain has filled the dry riverbeds in Alice Springs. Unfortunately Aboriginal people who had to make the riverbeds their home because of the NT Intervention are now without clothes and belongings as well as without homes and money. If you are able to help move some clothes collected in Byron Bay to Brisbane, or even to Northern Territory please contact Frankie Lee in Byron 02-66855129 or 0431 602686 (Frankie organised the "Speaking up the Territory Tour" for Barbara Shaw) or Robert and Sylvia Watson in Annerley Brisbane at 07-384 88642. Thank you.
URGENCY MOTION FROM MAJENTA: Norm and I took some bags up to Brisbane on Sunday and dropped them off at Annerley which was not far out of the way and easy to get back onto the highway. These people are in desperate need of these clothes now. We didn't really realize how bad it was for them up there until we spoke with the people at Brisbane.
So I urge anyone who is going to Brisbane to do a good deed and help out. They can get them to the NT, they just need to get them at Brisbane. Franki's shed is full to groaning with bags of clothes, bedding, etc for these people.
Now is a good time to go through the wardrobes and let go of anything you don't use.

WWS 5TH BIG POLLUTER:
SMH article discloses Dept of Climate Change data that shows Woolworths fifth biggest Scope 2 energy user/polluter in the nation (Scope 2 being greenhouse gas emissions by Woolworths, through using energy created offsite by someone else). Wesfarmers also right up there (3rd). A reasonable case to say the big supermarkets are major users of energy and therefore polluters. Shop local, save the planet!

ONLINE GROCERY PRICING Woolworths has launched a site listing 5000 of its 30,000 lines. But Choice spokesman Christopher Zinn said the Woolworths site - covered by a disclaimer which asserts customers cannot print, display or store the information on it - showed "the prices (they) want us to know". "What's so secret?" Mr Zinn said.
