Interesting, short, awareness-raising ABC clip; (2 mins 46)

Above clip shows relevance of Peggy"s caption: SUPPORT WOOLWORTHS: GET PISSED, GO GAMBLING (to which I add) & EAT PETROCHEMICALS. (5 mins) is mainly about the Newport situation with vignettes of the Maleny campaign (police, tears and Penelope Platypus) and 3 shots of Mullumbimby big box funeral (the last one with flames). Thanks again to Sam GB who painted the motif on the side of the big box, thus immortalising our campaign for the media.

NEWPORT"s protest march against Woolworths take-over of their seaside suburb in N Sydney was today and may be on the news tonight, or go to and sign their petition.

MULLUMBIMBY film maker Trevor interviewed locals on the street one day recently and made this 10 min movie: the next day he filmed the Station Street site, waterlogged, despite some claims made the previous day. Woolworths claim that the 'SILENT MAJORITY WANTS WWS' obviously doesn't hold water.

AUS FINANCIAL REVIEW Mullum Forum have another ad in Monday"s Fin Rev (tomorrow).
