MEET BYRON SHIRE COUNCIL STAFF
& COUNCILLORS AT MULLUM FARMERS MARKET

FRIDAY 5TH NOV

Mayor Jan Barham, Ray Darney and others will be at the Farmers Market to hear what you have to say! If you"re sick of seeing Station Street used as a building site by Woolworths (this was NOT in the DA) come and tell Ray Darney himself!

Questions for Ray:

1. Is Woolworths paying Byron Shire Council a fee for using Station Street as a building site?
2. By what authority can Woolworths use Station Street as a building site?
3. Barricades were meant to be down after roadworks completed in 3 months from 7 June, did Woolworths ask council for an extension for barricades and thus continued redirection of town traffic?
4. Will the Woolworths irrigation/on-site sewage system be built before the fence comes down?
5. What discounts are Woolworths receiving on S94 developer contributions?

If you can"t get to the market and would like to pose these or similar questions to Ray Darney, email him direct on ray.darney(at)byron.nsw.gov.au (remove the brackets and put @) and send a copy to ‘contact us" at http://www.mullumaction.org

This is also an opportunity to let council know your long term aspirations for the future.
