LIVING EARTH FESTIVAL

MULLUMBIMBY COMMUNITY GARDENS – SUNDAY 1st SEPT
Calling all supporters of Lock the Gate movement – please join us in the Living Earth procession on first day of spring meeting 9 am behind Council Chambers – come dressed with gasfield-free theme (a methane bubble perhaps?) or wear yellow & black; banners, placards most welcomed and you can bring them to the KIDZART tent at the Gardens, or create one there afterwards. Kidz of all ages – free up your creativity and have fun with your imagination and add to our collection of artworks which may become a book.


GASFIELD-FREE STREET SIGNS FOR MULLUM – funds needed!!
A beautiful sign with an outline of Mt Chincogan declaring Mullum 95% Gasfield Free, Protected by Community, has been designed and approved by council. We are just finalising the position for two of them. We need $800 to cover cost of 2 signs and erection by council. We decided this would be more attractive than yellow coreflute signs on every road in town – they get faded and bent.
