GFF SIGNS FUNDRAISING GARAGE SALE


SAT 19 OCT 8 – 12

Community garage sale at 20 Left Bank Road, half a k from the hospital, this Saturday. Combined households and special stall for GFF signs fundraising as some groups in the shire are needing financial help to get their gasfield-free – protected by community - signs up.

If you have any books, clothes and bric-a-brac to donate, please drop off at 20 Left Bank Road (tel 66843723). Come along on Sat and have a look, some great books, a printer/fax and printer/scanner, ergonomic chair, etc have already been donated!


MULLUM GFF SIGNS ARE UP!

Thanks Olga for the great design and for all our surveyors/coordinators who participated doorknocking every household in Mullum – 95.5% of those surveyed don"t want to live in a gasfield. Thanks to generous donations by TelcoGreen, Carole Gamble and Robert Hart.


MULLUM GFF PHOTOSHOOT – SAT 26 OCT – 10.30am

The grand finale to our survey process is to get a great photo of our GFF sign with as many supporters as possible – pref with colourful banners, flags, etc – to plonk on politicians desks as part of a ‘pressure letter". We especially need to impress upon our Minister for the North Coast who is meant to be protecting us – his name is DON PAGE – that we feel very strongly about CSG. He doesn"t seem to have got the message so far – we need ACTION, DON!!!

The Flash mob Protest/Vigils will continue this coming week at the corner of Naughton"s Gap & Bentley Roads next Tuesday October 22 – 7.15 to 8.30am; Thursday October 24 – 4.15 to 5.30pm. This gas well is a threat to our land and water and will most likely result in a gas field dominating and contaminating the area. (from csgfreenr.lismore(@)gmail.com - mailout).
