DRILL HALL MULLUMBIMBY Friday 15th November - 6.30pm
Besides the films will be an update from LTG spokeswoman Boudicca Cerese with Q&A, info & pics from Pilliga State Forest from locals who"ve just returned, "Divestment" info from Jim Beatson,s a short slide presentation of KIDZARTworks and a song by young Holley Knott. Please come and support LTG to protect our region from CSG and unconventional gas. The funds will go towards GFF signs and to LTG.
CAKES AND SAVOURIES NEEDED PLEASE!
If you can"t make it to the frontline next February when Metgasco starts drilling in Bentley, 12 ks from Lismore, then please support the activists who risk so much a cake or savoury fingerfood would be most appreciated. This will help us fundraise, and provide nosh on the night. Please call Deb 66843723 or Olga 66803014 if you"re willing to bake something. Or you could bring something to Deb on honey stall at the Mullum Farmers Market Friday morning. We also need help on the night so let us know if you can arrive at 6 pm.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION (EMR)
Next Mullum Forum meeting on Thursday 14th Nov at 7.30pm is entitled "EMR Awareness", and includes a media presentation and discussion on simple ways to reduce personal exposure to electromagnetic radiation from wireless (wifi) and mains-powered.

FLUORIDE ACTION NETWORK
Petition addressed to Byron Shire Council, Lismore City Council and Ballina Shire Council stating that "we the undersigned citizens, residents and visitors to the above shires advise that we do not want the drinking water to be fluoridated" is available from contact(at)fluoridealertaustralia.org or FB: Fluoride Action Network.
FOOD FOR FARMERS & TOYS FOR TARA
DROUGHT STRIKES AGAIN!!
Following the success of this Appeal over many years, it is on once more. We need to let Farmers know that they are not forgotten during this severe drought & Christmas Hampers will be sent to them & toys to the children of Tara & Kogan who are suffering health impacts from the surrounding gasfields.
NON-PERISHABLE FOOD NEEDED ie:
Packets of: rice, pasta, tea, coffee, cake mixes, biscuits, cereals, jellies, custard powder, lollies (no choc). Jars of: Jam, peanut butter, vegemite, pickles, etc. Tins of: Australian fruit, vegs, soups, tuna, salmon, ham etc. Christmas cakes, puddings, dried fruit/nuts Toys for children of various ages.
