SHENHUA WATERMARK COAL MINE – Liverpool Plains foodbowl and koala habitat
;
;
Conflicting reports in the news; The Guardian reports Land & Env Court ruled koala habitat can be removed for the coalmine whilst the ABC says the coalmine is unlikely to go ahead because their mining exploration licence expires on Monday. Today The Guardian reports Shenhua have applied to extend the exploration licence which costs nothing, but not applied for the mining licence which costs $200m.
